Wedding Ceremony Music
You've been looking forward to this moment for a long time. It's here! You and the father of the bride start to walk down the isle
and make an impressive entrance. But have you thought what your string quartet is going to choose for your wedding ceremony
music?
Instrumental ensemble, more than anything else, has the ability to set the scene, evoke emotion, and give a
situation presence. Are you a conventional Wagner's "Here Comes the Bride" or "Canon in D" by Pachelbel, type of couple? Or maybe
you're more contemporary, looking for a song that's more personal and romantic, perhaps Norah Jones', "Come Away with Me" ?

We've provided a brief list of classical and contemporary wedding ceremony music. Indeed many of these instrumentals can be used for
either processionals and recessionals, and will even serve as prelude music. Prelude music is played when your guests
are getting seated and waiting for the proceedings to start. What about post ceremony music, when your guests are
leaving the venue, or maybe standing in the receiving line?

It's worth checking out amazon.com and search for any of
these titles. Amazon have an MP3 excerpt for most songs - allowing you to get a feel for the music before you purchase it. Of
course if you like it, you can then purchase a c.d. of the music from either an online or a local book or music shop, or find sheet music on a
popular site, such as sheetmusicplus.com. If you are short of time,
or lack experience in organising music, String Quartets Live will be happy to do the job for you.
